Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Bounwell's Real Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices bread
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken with Bounwell's Real Mayonnaise.
  2. 2Add celery, red onion, and fresh dill. Mix well.
  3. 3Stir in lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.
  4. 4Toast the bread slices until golden.
  5. 5Spread additional mayonnaise on the bread if desired.
  6. 6Layer lettuce and tomato on one slice of bread.
  7. 7Top with the chicken salad mixture.
  8. 8Cover with the other slice of bread, cut in half, and serve.
